Sweden is not just a floorball powerhouse in the rink. The national federation presented fantastic statistics proving a strong growth of media coverage.

“The positive feedback by Swedish media is a result of hard work”, says Sebastian Nurmi, head of communication at Svenska Innebandyförbundet, to innebandy.se. The way how the federation has provided material to press and TV had paid off.

Sponsor Insight measures floorball’s visibility in swedish media annually. This season they recorded a huge raise of 46 % in TV features. Online media published 21 % related images more than in 2015. These statistics mean even more regarding the fact that 2014/2015 was the season Sweden hosted the Men’s WFC.
